Come, speak up, get involved - FBA 'open mic' session

The One Bermuda Alliance youth syndicate known as the Future Bermuda Alliance will host an Open Mic event this Friday, December 16, in the back room of Docksiders Pub from 7-9 p.m.

Young Bermudians are invited to bring their thoughts about Bermuda today; to listen, speak up and be heard by members of the OBA.

The Future Bermuda Alliance, or FBA, is a diverse group of young Bermudians who are passionate about making Bermuda better. Its members are dedicated to representing and promoting the views of young Bermudians directly to the OBA leadership and caucus.

As the future of Bermuda and the One Bermuda Alliance, we are committed to incorporating the ideas, views and solutions of young Bermudians into the broader vision of the OBA. In attendance will be OBA Leader Craig Cannonier, OBA MPs and caucus members to listen and respond to questions.

Those who provide contact details and answer a poll question will be provided a free drink ticket. Free food will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Slanger, Maya & A-Team will perform and Deejay Smokey will play music as the night goes on.

All Bermudians who care about our future should plan to attend the event no matter what party affiliation they may have.

The Future Bermuda Alliance is about positive action in the community and putting Bermuda first.
